Privacy policy

This page lists every third party the site actually loads, the keys it writes, how long they last, and how to turn everything off.

By Noillirk Field Guide | Updated | Independent, unofficial guide

Built-page check: 22 October 2026. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and two Adsterra units load by default. Reject stops them and is remembered for 180 days. The initial HTML contains no advertising or recording script tag; the site loader creates those scripts once the document is parsed.

Who we are

The editors of noillirk.me publish this guide. Contact [email protected] for any privacy request. We are an independent fan guide, not Daily. We do not run an account system. Advertising and measurement providers receive browser and request data as described below.

What loads by default, and how to turn it off

Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra ads load on the first page view without waiting for a click. The cookie banner is a notice and a withdrawal control, not a prior-consent gate: Accept keeps them on, and Reject turns them off. On a first visit with no saved choice we write accepted, start the loaders and show the banner. This technical default is not evidence that you clicked Accept. If you press Reject, we write rejected, disable Google measurement, remove the Clarity and Adsterra scripts, and reload the page to stop their running code and pending requests. Subsequent page views do not request these integrations. The choice lasts 180 days; after that the next visit starts from the default again.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track count as Reject. If either signal is on, we do not create the Clarity or Adsterra scripts and we record rejected without waiting for a click. The footer’s Cookie settings button brings the banner back so you can change the choice at any time.

The YouTube player is different: it stays as a picture and a Play button, and the iframe to https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/… is created only when you press play. That click is a separate request from the analytics and advertising choice.

Third parties and the storage they use

The table below is the complete list for this site. There is no AdSense, no other advertising network, no Cloudflare Insights and no session-replay service other than Clarity.

Google Analytics 4 (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com), measurement ID G-XN3243PRFJOn page load, unless you chose Reject, or GPC / DNT is onCount visits and page views so we know which guide pages are useful. Advertising signals stay denied until the banner records a choice.First-party cookies _ga and _ga_* have a default expiry of 2 years, subject to shorter browser limits. Google receives request data including your IP address and page URL. This GA4 installation does not use the older Universal Analytics _gid cookie.

Choices, retention, and your rights

The integrations are enabled by default as described above. An automatically written accepted value is a preference state, not proof of affirmative consent or a claim of compliance with every jurisdiction’s privacy law. Reject or a supported browser privacy signal switches off analytics, recording and advertising on this site. Requests already sent cannot be recalled, and this control does not erase data already held by a provider.

Site-set localStorage keys and retention: noillirk.consent (the accepted or rejected record plus a timestamp, 180 days) and noillirk.socialbar.closed (a closed flag plus a timestamp, 180 days). Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_* for up to 2 years. Microsoft Clarity sets _clck for 1 year and _clsk for 1 day. Adsterra sets its own storage under bicea.org as described in Adsterra’s cookie policy.

Use Reject or Cookie settings to stop this site’s advertising, analytics and recording integrations. The external Google Ads Settings and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out services could not be confirmed operational in our 22 October 2026 check, so they are not presented as working withdrawal controls here. Regional information is available at Your Online Choices; availability and supported vendors vary. Adsterra’s own practices are described in its privacy policy. Browser-level signals are explained at Global Privacy Control.

ads.txt declares one seller: adsterra.com, 3403020, DIRECT. No other advertising network is loaded. If that changes, this page and the built pages are updated before the network is enabled.

Questions people actually ask

Do you load ads and analytics without asking first?

Yes. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on the first page view. The banner explains that and offers Reject, which turns them off and is remembered for 180 days. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as Reject.

How do I turn ads off?

Press Reject in the banner or Cookie settings in the footer. That removes the Adsterra and Clarity scripts, hides the ad slot and the floating bar, and sets the Google advertising signals to denied for 180 days. The Close button on the floating bar remembers that choice separately for 180 days.

Does YouTube load automatically?

No. A video stays as a picture and a Play button. The YouTube iframe is created only when you press play.
