How to get better at Noillirk

The higher score is the answer a grandparent and a child would both say.

Four steps

First, say the thing a crowd would say, not the thing you would say. Daily’s example of the trap is a joke answer that feels good and scores nothing. Second, picture a child and a grandparent. The word both of them would give is usually first place. Third, do not stack two answers in one box. Daily rejects that, and you have spent seconds. Fourth, submit early enough that a rejection still leaves time for a plain retry. There is no speed bonus, but in Endless a timeout pops a balloon and a boring accepted answer does not.

Daily’s tips guide places an Everest-height target at about 514 points. Seven Cloud Nines total 224, while seven Jet Streams total 448. Those sums explain why a few top answers matter. Height estimates are not exact conversion rules; see the documented altitude conflict. This advice is for Daily’s client, not another edition’s boards.

What not to optimise

Do not hunt a rare wording. On Krillion, rare and correct is the entire sport. On Noillirk, rare tops out at 32 points if you are lucky, and often scores 16, 8, or 4. Do not wait for a perfect synonym while the dial goes orange. Daily says the first instinct is usually the crowd’s instinct, and the extra seconds are how you talk yourself into a private joke.

A rejected guess is cheap in a normal climb: you lose seconds, not the prompt. It is expensive only when the clock actually dies. If the first word was odd, type the boring one before you hit zero.

Questions people actually ask

How do I get a higher score in Noillirk?

Guess the most common answer, not a clever one. Daily suggests the word a child and a grandparent would share, submitted before you revise it into a joke.

Should I answer faster?

Speed does not add points. Leaving time for a retry does help, and in Endless a timeout pops a balloon.
