Seven on the screen, thousands in the bank
A climb is short on purpose. Daily’s comparison with Krillion says finding the number-one answer is a judgment, so 15 seconds is enough, and a longer clock only invites you to talk yourself out of the first instinct. The length of the climb is 7. The size of the pool is a different number.
Daily’s how-to-play guide says Classic draws from about 2,400 prompts and remembers the last 400 dealt in that browser. These are the publisher’s approximate pool size and repeat-avoidance design, not a guarantee of no repeats. Daily is different: one shared set per UTC day. Check the official host before comparing banks from other editions.
Why it feels small anyway
A Daily or Classic run only deals seven. A rejected answer leaves the clock running on the current prompt, so you can retry. Pass gives up that prompt for 0; it is not a request for another attempt at it. The bank is reused rather than consumed. Endless and longer multiplayer rounds are not restricted to seven prompts.
A question count advertised by another edition or workbook is not evidence about Daily’s pool. Classic starts another random set, while Daily deliberately keeps the same seven for that UTC day. Repetition in Daily is expected; it does not measure the size of Classic’s bank.

Do I get new questions every day?
The daily board changes once per UTC day and is played once. Classic can be replayed immediately and is not limited to one set per day.
Are there only 9 answers in the whole game?
No. Each prompt reveals a board of 9 ranked answers. Other wordings can still score below that board. The bank of prompts is about 2,400.
